NOTE: There are a lot of Watt monsters
For three mana, Branching Evolution states that if any number of +1/+1 counters would be put on a creature under its owner's control, twice that many counters are put on that creature instead
For instance: Creatures (16) Lands (22) Spells (22) Sideboard Kotiranta knew his opponents would have a lot of sideboard hate for his fast black aggro deck, but Entomb + Reanimation spells + Vampiric Tutor to help set it up, let him transform into a combo deck that would surprise people with a quick Avatar of Woe or Phantom Nishoba, leaving them looking at the Shock in their hand in disbelief
Im a lot lower on cards like Cultivate than I used to be
Two days later in my weekly(ish) online group I played Aeve again and it put in a pretty good showing
It's unclear whether other cards will get the BWR treatment at this stage, but it seems likely that at least Kyurem might get one, if not the starters or their evolutions too
